Jack London slept here on this enclosed porch which was adjacent to his study. This is also where Jack was found unconscious about 7 am on November 22nd. During the day the four doctors present used every known method to revive him but at no time did he regain consciousness. When all hope was gone, Jack was taken into Charmian's sleeping porch where he died at 7:45 pm.
